Police held a press conference Sunday afternoon after multiple violent incidents happened Saturday night and into early Sunday morning across the city.
Officers responded to a fight between two men at the Winona Peach Festival at around 9:20 p.m. where one of the men was allegedly carrying a gun.
The department says a 23-year-old man was arrested after the fight after learning that the man was in possession of a firearm with a high-capacity magazine and ammunition on him.
Police say the man is facing charges related to carrying a prohibited weapon.

About an hour later, police were called to a parking lot at the festival where a 53-year-old man was sent to hospital with serious injuries after being attacked by a group of four men – one of which was armed with a baseball bat.
The four men fled the parking lot before police arrived.
Just before midnight, emergency crews responded to a shooting in the parking lot of Peddles Tavern at 1490 Barton St. East. A 20-year-old man and a 28-year old man were found with non-life-threatening injuries at the tavern, but were allegedly uncooperative with police.
Police are looking for a suspect connected to the shooting that they describe as a Black male in his 20s, with dreadlocks and a ponytail, who was last seen wearing dark clothes and a hoodie.

Hamilton officers responded to reports of gunshots being fired on Sunday at 6 a.m. at Club 33 on 33 Bowen St.
Emergency crews found two men and one woman in their 20s suffering from gunshot wounds and transported them to hospital to treat their serious injuries.
Police are looking for a white man with blonde hair and a light beard, who was wearing a black Blue Jays baseball cap, a white shirt and black jeans in connection to the shooting.
Investigators say they believe each shooting incidents were targeted and not random, but do not believe the incidents to be related to each other.
Detectives say that these mark the city of Hamilton’s 45th and 46th shooting incidents of the year.
