Police have arrested and charged three people connected to the 2021 homicide of Sheydon Storer who was shot and died in hospital.
Officers responded to reports of gunshots on Dec. 21, 2021 at around 9:30 p.m. to the area of Upper Wentworth and Mohawk Road.
Emergency crews found 24-year-old Sheydon Storer lying in his driveway suffering from a gunshot would.
Storer was transported to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Detectives say they spent the years since his death reviewing evidence and video footage of the moment Storer was attacked.

Investigators say they formed Project Ohio in Fall 2023 with the singular purpose of investigating Storer’s murder.
As a result of the Project Ohio, 23-year-old Ahmed Issak Hussen and 22-year-old Kamaldeep Dhaliwal, both from Hamilton, were arrested and charged for first degree murder.
Police also arrested 24-year-old Tasnim Beauvais from Edmonton and charged them as an accessory after the fact to murder and obstructing a peace officer.
A statement from Storer’s family released by the department reads, “It’s been a long two years and nine months of not having answers but to get this confirmation has been a relief for our family and all those who loved Sheydon.”
