Police are investigating a crash Sunday afternoon in the north side of Burlington left someone with significant injuries.
Officers responded to a crash involving two vehicles just before 4 p.m. to Cedar Springs and 1 Side roads.
The crash involved a silver Infiniti sedan travelling northbound and a black Mazda SUV going eastbound.
Emergency crews say transported the 41-year-old passenger of the Infiniti to an out-of-region trauma centre for their “life-altering” injuries.
Detectives say due to the nature of the injuries, the collision reconstruction unit attended the crash and took charge of the investigation.
Anyone with information or video of the collision is asked to contact police.
