A fatal crash has closed part of Lakeshore Road in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Police say that an adult man suffered life-threatening injuries during a single-vehicle collision around 5 a.m. Wednesday.
The man was taken to hospital, where he ultimately was pronounced deceased.
No identifying details have been released at this time.
The department’s collision reconstruction unit remains on the scene and has closed part of the roadway for its investigation.
Lakeshore Road that has closed at Four Mile Creek and Old Lakeshore Road.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area.
