Students say they’ve been told by the university an offer is coming soon, whether that will be Thursday evening is still unclear. They are hoping to hear back about a proposal they presented to the dean Wednesday night.
Protestors are staying tight-lipped about the details of that proposal but signalled earlier that they won’t leave until the university meets all their demands.
Students and faculty also marched into the McMaster University library Thursday where they met with special constables who allowed the students to stage a peaceful protest which included speeches by professors at the school.
