A date has been announced for a coroner’s inquest into the death of a woman who died inside of a Niagara Regional Police Headquarters in 2020.
Sabrina Van Vessem, 24, died on May 21, 2020 while in custody of Niagara police.
An inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act.
Further details regarding the inquest, including the date and location, will be provided at a later date.
