Crews are at the scene of a multiple-alarm fire at the YMCA in downtown Hamilton early Monday afternoon.
In a social media post around 1:15 p.m., the Hamilton Fire Department says the blaze is now under control after it broke out on the third floor of the building located near James and Jackson streets.
Firefighters say they rescued several people.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
There is no word yet on the cause of the blaze.
