Halton police have charged a 35-year-old man in the death of a Milton man in a late-September multi-vehicle car crash.
The collision occurred Sept. 20 at the intersection of Derry Road and Ontario Street South in Milton and involved eight vehicles.

A GMC Sierra was westbound on Derry Road when it collided with several vehicles in the area of the intersection.
The GMC continued forward and crossed the center median west of the intersection where it overturned and struck several eastbound vehicles, coming to rest in the eastbound lanes of Derry Road.
Andrew Couto of Milton, driver of the GMC, has been charged with “dangerous operation of a conveyance causing death.”
Couto is set to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Milton at a later date.
