Brantford man charged in alleged sexual assaults on walking trail

A Brantford man is facing sexual assault charges in connection with two separate incidents on walking trails in the city.

Police say a 34-year-old man allegedly approached a female on a trail near Shellard Lane and Colborne Street West around 9 a.m. Sunday. He then approached another female around 9:15 a.m. Tuesday.

He was arrested Wednesday and charged with sexual assault and criminal harassment.

Officers say he was held for a bail hearing.

Members of the public can expect to see more police on walking trails in Brantford.

Investigators believe there may be more victims.
