One person is in hospital with serious injuries after a collision involving a pedestrian in Milton Thursday morning.
Halton police said in a post on X around 8:45 a.m. that the incident happened near Thompson Road and Maple Avenue.
Paramedics transported a male to hospital with serious injuries.

Thompson Road was closed in both directions from Steeles to Woodward avenues, as well as Maple Avenue between Fleming Drive and Hemlock Drive. Both intersections reopened shortly after 11 a.m.
There is no word yet on the cause of the incident or whether any charges will be laid.
Halton police’s collision reconstruction unit is now investigating.
