Officials say one person has died following a collision involving a bus on the QEW in St. Catharines Friday afternoon.
Emergency crews responded shortly after 3:30 p.m. to the scene at the bottom of the Garden City Skyway Bridge.
There are reports of a tire that came off of a truck on the Toronto-bound side, which flew over into Fort Erie-bound lanes.
Reports say the tire struck multiple vehicles.

Ontario Provincial Police have not confirmed those details.
Niagara EMS spokesperson Bryce Brunarski says one person was pronounced dead. There is no word yet on injuries among the 35 passengers on the bus.
OPP have closed all Toronto-bound lanes of the QEW at Glendale Avenue.
An Ornge air ambulance was called to the scene but later cancelled.
