Weather conditions in Hamilton and Burlington are no longer likely to result in thunderstorms, Environment Canada said.
Previously, the federal agency warned of 90 km/h winds, rainfall of up to 50 mm and nickel-size hail.
This morning, meteorologists said they were tracking a line of thunderstorms from Onondaga to Kitchener moving northeast. As of publication, Markham and Oshawa remain under a severe thunderstorm watch.
There is a rainfall warning for much of southwestern Ontario from Sarnia to Toronto, with amounts from 75 mm to 100 mm predicted for some areas.
