Around $200,000 worth of vehicles and parts were seized from a property in Simcoe, Ont., police say.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said in a news release on Monday they found “five stolen vehicles, two utility trailers, numerous vehicle parts, and vehicle accessories,” at a property on Windham Road 13.
Photos shared by OPP showed that at least three of the five stolen vehicles were pickup trucks.
The OPP Norfolk County detachment said their auto theft prevention unit started an investigation in September.
On Friday, at around 7:13 a.m., police say they executed a search warrant and charged a 48-year-old man with five counts of “possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000” and “two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.”
