Investigators with the Financial Crimes Unit are actively investigating a local tow operator and collision centre for predatory business practices within our community. Hamilton Police are investigating A.T Collision and Legacy Towing, both businesses operate out of 510 Cannon Street East in the City of Hamilton.
If you have had your vehicle taken by A.T Collision and your vehicle is currently being held by them, please call Hamilton Police and make a report.
Hamilton Police are reminding drivers that it is illegal for tow trucks to approach a driver at the scene of a collision unless they have been called by the driver or by police. In Ontario, tow truck operators and vehicle storage providers must abide by a code of conduct and be certified to offer services in Ontario.
