Halloween is just hours away, and residents in the Golden Horseshoe are going all out.
Cozy homes are being turned into scary haunted houses, lawn displays are in full force, and preparations for trick-or-treaters are underway.
CHCH News visited several neighbourhoods to check out the displays, including Burlington and Hamilton.
“I’ve actually always loved Halloween, and it’s been a favorite holiday of mine since I was a kid,” Sarah Black from Hamilton’s east end said.
“And it’s always been a dream of mine to build some sort of maze or a haunt.”
Some displays even give passersby an opportunity to donate to worthy causes as a token of appreciation for the hard work.
