Hamilton Police Urge Residents to Review Footage After Suspicious Person Seen in Stoney Creek

Hamilton Police are investigating a suspicious person incident that occurred in Stoney Creek early this morning and are asking for the public’s assistance.

Between midnight and 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, a resident in the area of Highway 8, between Green Road and King Street East, reported seeing an unknown person peering through their basement window. The individual, believed to be male and dressed in black clothing, fled the area on foot in an unknown direction after the resident immediately contacted police.

Hamilton Police are urging residents and business owners in the surrounding area to review any surveillance footage captured between 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17 and 1:00 a.m. on September 18. Any images of suspicious individuals during this timeframe may assist with the investigation.
