A man has died following a crash on Highway 403 in Burlington, according to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
Police have closed all eastbound lanes on the 403 east of Waterdown Road as they investigate. The closure is expected to last for several hours, according to OPP.
At around 9:40 a.m. ET on Monday, OPP said, officers were called to the scene of a collision between a motorcycle and an SUV between Waterdown Road and Queen Elizabeth Way.
Despite efforts by paramedics to save him, the motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene, while the SUV driver was not injured, according to OPP.
