Police are investigating after human remains were found in an industrial area of the Hamilton Harbour early Tuesday afternoon.
Officers say they received reports shortly after 2:30 p.m. of possible human remains discovered between Pier 16 and Pier 17.
The Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service attended the scene and confirmed the remains are those of a human.
Hamilton police are currently searching along the shoreline.
