Police are investigating after a building in Caledonia caught fire Thursday night.
Officers posted on X just before 9 a.m. on Friday that they responded to a structure fire on Fife Street.
Neighbours and others in the area told CHCH News the image was jarring, as the unoccupied home became engulfed.
Witnesses also said they did not hear anything before the fire broke out, and the owner of the property is rarely seen.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or crimestoppers.
