Vehicle smashes front window of Hamilton Shoppers Drug Mart

A Hamilton Shoppers Drug Mart location has a shattered window following an incident Thursday morning.

Hamilton police say officers were dispatched to Upper Ottawa Street and Mohawk Road East around 8:40 a.m. after receiving reports of a vehicle driving into a storefront window.

Once on scene, police found broken glass in front of the store. The driver did not appear to have sustained any injuries in the process.

Officials also confirmed no one was inside the store when the collision happened.

According to police, the vehicle did not fully enter the store, but rather struck the glass causing it to shatter.
