Police seek video footage of voyeurism suspect at Bronte GO

Police in Halton are looking for a male suspect who was allegedly seen positioning his phone under a woman’s dress at the Bronte GO Station last week.

According to witnesses, the woman was waiting to board the 4:26 p.m. eastbound train last Thursday when a suspect was seen standing near her with his phone out.

Patrons seated on the second level of the incoming train saw him positioning the device under her dress.

These witnesses let the victim know what had happened once she was on the train.

When the suspect walked on to the train and sat down, he was confronted. Police say he only spoke Spanish to the woman, and refused to open the photos application on his phone.

He then fled to another train coach and got off at an unknown station between Bronte and Union.

The suspect is described as five-foot-six tall, with black hair, an olive complexion, and looked to be about 40 years old.

Police have spoken to witnesses, however, they are hoping someone may have taken a picture or video of the suspect at some point when he was confronted on the busy train.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2216.
