Police are searching for a 24-year-old man who was sentenced for multiple convictions but is now at large in the Greater Hamilton area.
Officers are looking for Faizan Ali, a man that was convicted in connection with the death of a motorcyclist on May 17, 2021.
Ali was sentenced to 11 years for charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance and for possessing firearms.
Ali was released pending sentencing but he failed to appear in court and is currently missing. Detectives believe that Ali is in the Hamilton area or in surrounding municipalities.
Police describe Ali as a five-foot-tall South Asian man weighing around 194 pounds.
Anyone that sees Ali should not approach him and should call police immediately.
