Residents in the area of an east Hamilton Mountain neighbourhood can expect to see an increased police presence Tuesday afternoon.
In a post on X around 2:30 p.m., Hamilton police say they are investigating on East 24th Street between Brucedale and Fennel avenues.
Officers say there is no threat to public safety at this time.
Motorists and pedestrians are asked to use alternate routes.
Police have yet to share what they are investigating.
