Niagara Police seek man involved in Niagara Falls assault, robbery

Niagara Police are searching for a man that assaulted and robbed another man on Monday evening in a Niagara Falls parking lot.

Officers responded to a robbery at around 8:00 p.m. in a Value Village parking lot at 6278 Lundy’s Lane.

Investigators learned that a man was sitting in his car before the suspect assaulted him unprovoked and stole his wallet.

The man told police that he and the suspect did not know each other. He did not receive any life-threatening injuries.

Police were made aware that the suspect was playing a harmonica before the attack. Investigators found that the suspect was seen entering the passenger side of a white four-door car driven by a woman not believed to be part of the incident.

Detectives have described the man as six-foot tall, having short brown hair and weighing around 185 lbs. He was last seen wearing a short green plaid shirt, green shorts with two vertical black stripes on the leg, and light-coloured shoes.
