Hamilton police have released footage of a drive-by shooting in Stoney Creek in an effort to track down two suspects responsible.
No one was injured in what officers are calling a “targeted incident,” and the suspects remain at large.
The video shows the immediate moments following the barrage of gunfire that was directed at a man in his 50s outside of a shop on Mountain Avenue. In the clip, the passenger can be seen pulling his hand back inside the car — in his grip, a black pistol.
The vehicle attempts to pull a U-turn while on-lookers rush for cover in the adjacent parking lot.
With no room to complete the turn, the driver puts the car in reverse and makes an awkward three-point turn before speeding off southbound on Mountain Avenue.

Officers describe the vehicle as a grey or beige Honda Civic with a plate that read “CHZX 964” or similar. There was damage on the front bumper and no front plate.
The driver has no suspect description at this time, but the passenger, which police confirmed as the shooter is described as “wearing a blue medical mask, a light coloured sweater or jacket with the hood up, a reflective construction vest and light coloured gloves.”
Now, authorities are asking the public to review their own surveillance footage from the area to see if they have anything that matches the suspect vehicle.
