Halton police say a woman has died following a fire on a property in Milton Thursday night.
Emergency crews were called around 8 p.m. to a home on First Line Nassagaweya near Side Road 28.
Officers say a “bunk-like” structure, which was not the main home, caught fire.

First responders say a woman was found on the property and taken to hospital, where she later died.
Police have not confirmed whether anyone else was on the property.
The Office of the Ontario Fire Marshall is currently investigating.
