Hours before police found her body in a ditch in rural Niagara, Jessica St. Jules was last seen entering a van on Barton Street in Hamilton.

Now, Niagara police officers are trying to track down that van.

In a press release issued Friday, police said the Hamilton woman, 27, was spotted entered a granite-coloured Dodge Grand Caravan, that was made between 2018 and 2020.

She was seen entering the vehicle at roughly 4:20 a.m., on June 8, near the Hamilton Public Library on Barton Street East.

Police say the driver and any occupants are “believed to frequent the Barton Street area.”

They’re asking anyone with information to come forward and also asking anyone who may have had contact with St. Jules between June 7 and June 8 to contact police.

St. Jules was found dead on the west side of Nineteenth Street, in the town of Lincoln, on June 8.
