The brother of 27-year-old Jessica Lynn St. Jules says the family is trying to get answers after her body was found in Lincoln. He spoke with CHCH News on Monday as police continue their investigation.
Niagara police were at Nineteenth Street and Seventh Avenue throughout the weekend but the scene was clear Monday afternoon and roads were reopened.

St. Jules’ brother Zach Rezsek has started a GoFundMe page to help with funeral costs and so far it’s raised over $1,300.
“It’s almost like being in a daze right now. I don’t even know what exactly to say. To get a phone call from police and your mother saying we need to meet up, they’re telling you that they found her on the side of the road. It’s really tough and we’re trying to get answers we know just as much that the general public knows.”
St. Jules’ body was found Saturday afternoon along Nineteenth Street and Seventh Avenue. Rezsek says she had a loving family and she’s a mother with a six-year-old daughter.
“Jessica was very family oriented, she was a very happy bubbly person, she tried to put everyone first just to be there for everyone, she had a very special bond with a lot of her friends.”

Police couldn’t tell CHCH News how the woman’s body got there or how she died. They say she had connections in Hamilton and Halton. We reached out to police in both areas but they weren’t able to provide any details. Meanwhile, Niagara investigators tell us she wasn’t reported as a missing person and they’re continuing to investigate.
Rezsek says the last he spoke to her was a few weeks ago and everything seemed good at that point. “From what I know she was with friends on Friday night and then whatever happened happened. Nagara police was advised Saturday afternoon and we were advised Sunday morning.”
People who live in the area say it’s tragic. “I think it’s a terrible thing to happen to a young or to anybody, but especially to a young girl.”
Detectives are looking to speak with those who may have had contact with St. Jules’ in the last week and are asking anyone who may have information to call them.
