Environment Canada has put Hamilton and surrounding areas under a fog advisory on Sunday, but the agency said it should clear up Sunday morning — only to return again overnight.
Hamilton, Burlington, Brantford, Haldimand County, Norfolk County and Niagara Region are all under a fog advisory.
“Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring,” reads the national weather agency’s advisory as of 9:13 a.m., on Sunday.
“Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero.”
The advisory says the fog will clear up this morning but doesn’t specify when.
